What do we do at CTIC?
We are a leading European technology center in information and communication technologies and the best environment for professional development in Asturias.
We work by researching different disruptive technologies and applying them to real cases in various economic sectors. Some of these technologies are Blockchain, Generative AI, Edge AI, Quantum Computing, Data Spaces, or Immersive Technologies, which we apply to key areas such as Health, Active Aging and Well-being, the Data Economy, Industry 4.0, or Smart Territories.

We are looking for a professional with a background in Educational Sciences, Psychopedagogy, Social Sciences, or related fields, with experience in applied research on the use of technology in formal, non-formal, and workplace learning contexts. Their work focuses on analyzing how people acquire and apply digital skills in real environments, identifying barriers, motivations, and success factors in technological adaptation processes.
You will participate in projects that combine quantitative and qualitative methodologies (interviews, focus groups, participant observation, surveys, data analysis) to evaluate the effectiveness of digital tools, training platforms, and capacity-building processes, especially in the context of the digital transformation of organizations and territories. The approach is aimed at generating transferable knowledge that allows the design of more effective, inclusive, and sustainable pedagogical interventions.
You will work closely with experts in technology, territorial development, and public policies, providing a people-centered and digital equity-focused vision. Therefore, you should have experience in writing research reports, developing educational content, and designing pilot actions within European and regional projects.
Main responsibilities of the position
- Analysis of technology use in workplace learning processes and diverse educational contexts (children, adults, reskilling and upskilling processes, etc.).
- Design and implementation of quantitative and qualitative research on digital skills acquisition.
- Evaluation of the impact of digital platforms, training programs, and technology-based learning environments.
- Participation in co-design of training pathways, pilots, and educational actions.
- Collaboration in innovation projects through inclusive digital transformation with a focus on equity and lifelong learning.
- Writing reports, deliverables, and contributing to proposals in European or national programs.

What we are looking for
- Education in Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy, Education, Sociology, or related disciplines.
- Experience in applied research in workplace or educational settings.
- Knowledge of digital training tools (MOOC, microlearning, educational platforms).
- Interest in educational innovation, digital inclusion, and 21st-century skills training.
- High level of English
- Practical mindset, autonomy, and ability to learn quickly
